There was also the scene where his character Gisborne kills Maid Marion in the BBC Robin Hood where his character cries :) Also possibly where Meg(I believe that is her name; its been a while xD) and, if memory serves, when his character dies as well? Im not 100 percent sure though
I haven’t watched all of Robin Hood so I can’t tell really but I guess we can trust you on this one. Aaand I’m pretty sure that there were no tears in the death scene in RH. Y’know spoilers are my friends, I watch them all.
Has Richard armitage ever actually cried on screen?
Hey Nonny, sorry for answering so late ! I didn’t have access to my computer all day & I also needed time to answer properly :)
When I first saw your message, if I had answered right away, I would have said no, but later I remembered that the last time I watched Strike Back, I did see tears in his eyes.
You’ll have to watch it fullscreen & your face close to the screen to see it, but there’s definitely tears in his eyes. (the scene is in ep 06 about half way through it, when Gerry steps on a bomb & John tells him that his daughter believes he killed his friends & that his best mate just died)
& Then on Spooks, in ep 908, when Maya dies
I never actually saw it before, but it’s a very intense scene so I thought he must have shed some tears, so I watched it frame by frame & you can actually see a tear falling down (from his left eye)
See the little thing near his nose, on top of Maya’s lips ? That’s a tear, it’s there for one single frame.
Besides those two, I don’t remember seeing other tears. But I haven’t watch everything he’s done yet & I never searched for tears until this day.
Thank you for the question Nonny, I hope I answered it right :)
More of a water drop probably but you’re here to judge.
There was a scene in episode 2 of The Impressionists but it was dry cry too I guess, just like most (all?) of his crying scenes.
You’re welcome, better soundtrack for this gifset.
